Joucas Beauté is a luxury hilltop villa, converted from an 18th and early 19th Century hamlet  in Provence.

The property has been lovingly restored over many years, and is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Provence. Situated in a quiet location, it benefits from wonderful south-facing views over the Luberon Valley.

This luxury villa is surrounded by 20 acres of secluded grounds, of which 5 acres are gardens. Also within the grounds is a 12m X 4m heated swimming pool and Boules piste. The bedrooms are split between two stone villas, both well equipped, just a few metres apart, and linked by courtyards.

This luxury villa is well supplied with table and bed linen, as well as chinaware and glassware. Both villas boast substantial libraries, and a good cross-section of the latest books.

The Luberon area has strict building codes preserving rural beauty and historic character and is of significant natural beauty and historic interest with many ancient hilltop villages.

Gordes and Roussillon have won the Most Beautiful Village in France contest several times. Many spectacular day trips are available from the luxury villa rental including the Pont du Gard, the Palais des papes in Avignon and Mont Ventoux, Nimes, Arles and Marseille. There is also hiking and canoeing in the Sorgues River and many other outdoor activities nearby, including an easily rentable municipal tennis court in Joucas. The Saturday Market in Apt and the Sunday Market in Isle sur la Sorgue are within a 30-minute radius.

Several bicycles are included as part of the rental and bikes can also be hired in Coustellet. Having a hired car or a vehicle is essential in this area.
