Swan Lake Chateau

A unique and exceptional Chateau, dating from the 17^th and 18^th Century, hidden in the heart of a park and its vineyard in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Luberon hills, near some of the prettiest listed villages in the region. This is a superb protected and romantic environment in the heart of a countryside of vineyards, olive groves and wooded hills, twenty-five minutes from Aix-en-Provence.

An air of timelessness permeates the shade cast by the plane trees. The air’s blue gaze tempts you along the honey-coloured drive leading to the chateau. The old mill drinks in the gentle wind above the green strokes of vineyards painted on the Luberon landscape.

The sunshine beats down on summer’s red cherries embraced by lavender’s mauve fragrance. Flower beds, water features, regular paths, irregular woods, French-style garden, vales, meadows, ponds, vines, fields of olive trees, garden walls covered with flowers and fruit trees ranging from carefully pruned to completely wild… The garden creates a balance between intelligence and the senses.

Chateau

Ground floor. Large entrance hall with beautiful staircase with plasterwork from the 17^th century. Guest cloakroom. Large kitchen with large fireplace and dining table. Back kitchen with external access. Five large reception rooms, including two dining rooms, two living rooms, smoking room and a library/office. Access to the heated indoor swimming pool, opening onto the gardens. A lift serves the upper floors.

First floor. Landing and living room. There are five bedrooms on this floor. Master bedroom with fireplace, with en-suite bathroom, with jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Double bedroom with bathroom, and additional single bed.

Second floor. Large living room. Three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
